Our Programme

At Kenthurst Early Education Centre we provide a preschool programme for children to help them prepare for the transition to school.

Each child is observed and the programme is planned to suite the needs of the individual, including children's interests. Observations of children's learnings are documented and published for parents to view monthly. Additionally, learning assessments are completed at various times of the year to ensure all children's learning is on track for primary school.

The learning program is planned in fortnightly cycles and follows a natural progression of educational milestones we aim for, as well as incorporating childrens interests throughout the year. The children are invited to bring items from home that correlate to the educational program and present them to the class during 'news time/my time'.

This timetable is used as a guideline. Activities and times are flexible. In the hotter months, times are changed so that children are not outdoors during the hottest times of the day.
